The seaside hamlet of Isla Vista is known as a place for good times and merriment, education and enlightment, but good urban planning? Come see the amazing transformation of Isla Vista as the "Loop" has turned into a pedestrian and bike-friendly, lushly landscaped urban center. Participants will be guided on the walking tour by Jeff Lindgren, the Santa Barbara Community Redevelopment Manager, who is responsible for making this happen. Overview of the Isla Vista improvements will begin at On the Side restaurant.
